I created a series of logos for new digital weather forecasting products in The Weather Company’s Max ecosystem. These products provide accurate, personalized, and actionable weather data & insights to TV broadcasters, so they can keep their audiences safe and engaged. After branding the products, I worked with Hoozens to animate the logos.
Max
Max is a desktop-based software that allows local news stations to generate custom weather graphics for use on broadcast and elsewhere. This ecosystem is made up of production tools and visualizations and connects all the tools across Weather Company platforms.
Max Alert Live
Max Alert Live allows news stations to automatically trigger digital crawls and warnings that are superimposed on the screen to warn viewers of imminent weather threats.
Prism Pro
Prism Pro is a web-based app that allows meteorologists to distribute custom and real-time content with ease. It generates customized images and video of upcoming weather to be scheduled or deployed immediately.
Forecast Editor
Forecast Editor is a tool that enables highly localized forecast editing, by drawing shapes over areas of a map. Meteorologists are then able to easily make app data match what’s being broadcasted as weather changes.
Model Lab Pro
Model Lab Pro is a website powered by The Weather Company that allows meteorologists to quickly and easily compare various forecast models to help create their own individual forecasts for their local viewers.
